24v lights for a 1250?

Does anyone have a lead on where to get 24v lights for the 1250 gas?

I don't know what you are wanting but several years ago I helped set up a military surplus truck for fire fighting off road. They wanted lights on the rear for backup and fire scene lighting. I found 24 volt lights made for landing lights on smaller airplanes at NAPA which worked very well for that application.

Most construction payloaders and motorgraders are 24v, Komatsu and Case even after 2000 are 24V.

Dunno where you are, but in the UK virtually all lorries have 24 volt electrics.

Or if you aren't concerned with it being original, you could do what Deere did and run the lights off of one battery.

Look for LED as some of the ones I've seen say they're good up to 32V.

Or he could rig two 12 volt lamps in series. Wouldn?t know which bulb has blown when they go out, but better than unequalising two batteries in series. Of course, it may even be a single 24 volt battery...
