Cockshutt 50 diesel to rebuild or sell

Cockshutt 50 Diesel loaded on trailer to take to engine shop. Paint rough, rear rime rough but holding up with read but cracked. . Engine apart Bore greased and looks good standard size. ( not bored) Have good pistons and spare set of standard pistons. Crank greased in storage. I have had head totally rebuilt early spring. Water pump just rebuilt by commercial pump Houston Texas. Rings and necessary gaskets from Heisy in box not even opened. totally rebuilt pump by dieselteck never installed. im 73years old, have a cockshutt 40 diesel as well 30 adj front 30 narrow with standard front in storage also a cockshutt 20. DO I really want to start a full refurbish on the diesel 50? I bought this dieseinse it's in just to keep it from scrappers. I do think us older tired wore out guys should do all possible to save these machines from scrap. To make ready for any show in addition to engine put together properly total tractor should be sanded primed , new rear rims and likely much more. Health wise I just cannot do the work any more. unless some young buck wants it I will start the rebuilding process just to preserve Cockshutt history.

Are you with Wilson Industries, Houston? Very few Cockshuts in this area, think dealer in Waller, Tx sold a few at one time.

NO in Indiana. Have found commercial pump in Houston is very good on all fluid pumps, Very good on older tractor and industrial pumps. They have always supplied parts and rebuilding for pumps when original manufactures say no parts longer available.
