hi guys looking to put an electronic ignition kit on my cockshutt 40. can this be done.. thanks

Of course, I have one on my 40. Any good parts store can get you Pertronix. Just need to know what distributor and if your tractor is is positive or negative ground and 6v or 12 v.

The one from the 30 is.I had the 30 done professionally,springs changed and the advance curve changed for pulling. The 35 had already been converted when I bought it and I really have never looked to see.But it really makes the tractors start easy and will not miss at max RPM. I pull both of the tractors and both are turning pretty good RPMs.
