How far should I go....?

I took apart the hydraulic assembly on my new 550 today. The reservoir was leaking into the trans. The leak was a bad gasket at the pump inlet. While I have things apart what else should I do? Should I take the pump apart?

If it were me and the pump was questionable I would bring it in somewhere to get tested(since I don't know enough about them to do it myself) When I had mine apart I replaced the 3 pt lift piston O-ring and leather back-up washer. It really helped keep the 3 pt up after you shut off the tractor. Others will advise you more. You'll be a pro in no time.

How far should I go....?
