Oliver 520 baler

I've got an Oliver 520 baler and a second one for parts. I'm slowly shutting down the hobby farm and will be cleaning up the rust bucket equipment row.

Is this a salable baler or is it time to ship this puppy to the scrap yard?

It's always worked like a charm, but I didn't run it last year.

Thanx for any input and opinions.

I would think someone would give you scrap price or a little better. There was a guy on here a week or 2 ago looking for an oliver baler to go with an 88, I think. A 520 would work good. Maybe he will see this and you can make a deal.

there will be collectors willing to buy it from you. we have seen alot of oliver balers in our area lately and they all we bought by collectors.

I have a 520 baler that I have owned for over 20 years and would never sell it. There good balers that make alittle smaller bale that horse people love, There easer to handle so the kids and the female fokes realy like them. Selling one with a parts machine with it should not be a problem. Just dont send them to the scrap yard! Bandit

I've got a 520 that I rescued from the scrap man a few years ago, but have been unable to find a couple of parts for it. I need a needle and the PTO shaft. Should you decide to part with these, my email is open.
