Hercules military engine w/turbo

there is 1 for sale for $600, was in military truck from 1989, low hours, complete, Would this fit in an Oliver 17-1950 tub?
 
The original multifuel engine made by Continental was 465 cubic inch, the Hercules (White) are 478 cubic inch. I did a machine shop class for a certain states National Guard one time and Hercules sent me about 20+ pages of differences and some were small between the tractor engine and the military engine. There is a hospital in Toledo that has or had one of those that was built to run on natural gas!.
 
The military models are known as LTD 465 because the original engines were 465 cubic inch. I would guess it is 478 There should be an engine number on that tag. Continental developed the engine, Hercules/later White engines built most of them. If you are going to use it for a tractor you may want to have the governor converted to a variable speed governor. See if it has an American Bosch PSJ pump or the later Bosch model 100 pump.
 
American Bosch PSJ pumps were used on Oliver 2050 and 2150, later replaced by Model 100 similar to what is used on IH tractors. Military pumps were PSB with external advance fitted to front of pump, also had fuel density compensator for Multifuel use. Later blocks have TD on right front, stands for Thick Deck. Have a 6x6 army truck with no turbo engine in it, thought about hanging a charger on it. Military service book shows several versions, 2 with no turbo, 3 with. At least 2, maybe 3 differrent ratings as turbos are differrent also in my parts book from Memphis Equipment.
 
I used to have an M-139 2 1/2 6X6 that had a LDS 427 Hercules engine HAD A KICK starter pedal, LDS 465"s had a key starter, Memphis Equip had parts for mine. Basically the same engine that was in my old 2150 Oliver, some of the gaskets even had military part numbers direct from the OLIVER Dealer.
