Howdy, im going to be painting a 60 Oliver Rowcrop. Im wondering what color the pieces originally were?

Starter, generator, seat, steering column/shaft, rear rubs, linkages, fuel tank, valve cover, etc.

If you can guide me in the right direction i'd really appreciate it.

Starter & generator could go either green or black just what you prefer, I've been told they were green from factory painted after put on tractor and painted then the black ones were replacement ones. The rest of the parts I would say green.

i am hoping you meant rear hubs and not rear rubs. the hubs were red or green, its your choice. i believe the factory would be green because oliver liked to keep things simple. but other than that every thing is green

Let me srticxck this in here before the post column rolls over to page two. the attached photo in my opinion pretty much shows the correct factory painting of an Oliver 60 of that era. The factory only painted any part of a tractor to present a likeable unit while at the same time painting in the most economical manner. The tractor was painted while on the erection carrier going down the assembly line, wheels with tires, seat cushions and sterring wheels along with lighting in their appropriate colors were added after the tractor exited the paint booth.
