Need help:wanna Waukesha Engine Service Manual model:180 DLC

If anybody has the tractor manual that has this engine, would be ok as well.
 
Read what the bottom two say. That engine was not used by Oliver. Now for a service manual you need to talk to the Waukesha Historical Society. Also send me a U. S. Mail address. I can also send you contact information on the Waukesha historical society then. I have the condensed Spec out of A Waukesha manual here but I can not scan. Also by the serial number the engine was built in the late 50's. Does it have an American Bosch or Roosa Master injection pump? As asked what the application was, some of the generator set engines are different than a standard 180 DLC engine. More questions? J.
 
I can speak for vip as I am also involved with this engine. The engine was used on a dynamometer test cell for many years as an educational tool. The engine recently had some troubles starting and operating, which we are to diagnose. There is no documentation or recorded history of the engine. We assumed that it was originally from an Oliver tractor based solely on someones statement that Olivers used Waukesha engines. Based on other information posted on this forum it seems as though it could have been from a payloader or generator set, as J. Schwiebert suggests. The engine is a 144 cuin and uses a Roosa Master injection pump. Initial assessment of the engine is that the glow plug relay has failed and that the injection pump elastic governor weight retaining ring has crumbled apart. vip and I were hoping to find a service manual that would provide more basic service information about the engine. We will contact the WEHS, thank you.
 
What basic information are you looking for to start with. That spec book I have has some good information in it. I will need your e-mail address. J.
