K&M step on Oliver/White

Has anyone ever put a K&M step on an Oliver 1950-T or similar tractor. I'm talking about the ones they make for John Deere 20,30,40,50,55,60 series tractors. It seems like it could be fixed up fairly easily, but I've never seen it done.

We once had a Deere step kit on our 1650. We
tried to get by with what was in the kit, and
never made any changes to the design- we used it
for a year or two and sold it and went back to the
factory Oliver step in the end. You had to make
too high of a first step to get on it, and it hung
really far ahead (we mounted it on the big pad by
the fuel tank). I think if you spend the time and
do some nice brackets, it would look and work
good. Keep in mind the battery box on the '50
series tractors would be right in the way.
