Oliver 1850 Reproduction tach??? Sources??

Hi guys, I'm putting a 5.9 cummins in an Oliver 1850. I'm looking at either buying a tach drive for it, or going to an electric tach. If the money's close to the same, I'd prefer the electric as it's more stable, accurate, etc. But, do you know where I could get an electric tach with a correct face for an 1850? I wouldn't mind a tach that reads a little higher in RPM's either since this cummins can rev to 3000 rpms and that what she'll get on the occasions when I pull er...

I've been searching and my google results haven't really gotten me what I'm after.

ISSPRO (http://www.isspro.com/) sells a vast arrangement of
electronic/mechanical tachs that fit your rpm range.

What I did was have a speedo shop cut the rims off of a new
electronic tach and an old Oliver tach. Then they installed the
Oliver faceplate and needle on the new tach. After calibration they
rolled on a new rim and I had a new "Oliver" electronic tach with
flywheel pickup.
 
$210 for everything. They supplied the tach and charged me $85 labor. As I remember this included the flywheel sensor.

Here's another plan. I recently bought a tach for my 2255 from AgPartsFirst which has a 3500 rpm range. I am thinking about buying another for my 1900 puller which turns about 3250 rpms.

For the most accuracy in an instrument you want the working range to be in the center of the total span. Therefore for an accurate max rpm of 3000, you would need a 5000 rpm tach.

I take it the 2255 tach is electronic then?

I'm not too terribly worried about the accuracy of the tach, just want to have it more for reference than anything.. I"m not going to be pushing this motor to it's limits anyhow..
