Hood differences between 77 and 770

My dad just bought a 77 Oliver that had been poorly converted to propane. They cut the heck out fo the hood and he wants to put it back to gas.
I found a guy with a 770 hood, but don't know if they are different. Anyone have a 77 hood and gas tank around eastern Nebraska?
 
Huge difference. The curve is different at the front,battery box cover is different. I don't even know if the length is the same.
 
Okay, thanks for the information. Guess I will have to look for just the 77 hoods. Anyone have one along with the rear side metal?
 
Might check measurments if you happen to find an 880 hood- they would be the same shape, at least. But best bet is another 770, of course. Pretty sure no others would match.
 
The rear side panels are pretty cheap new. external_link.com has them for $168 a pair,but the last set I got from Lynch were only $90. I think their site is lynchfarmstractorparts.com
 
I have a couple of 77 hoods to sell, but I'm in Illinois. I will be at the Summer Show in Iowa and could deliver there, if that helps.
