Oliver 1800 C - Radiator Retrofit

I am having a tough time finding a replacement radiator for our 1800C. The local radiator shop says the one we have is shot, both the top and bottom tanks are shot.

I found two radiators, but both shops won't ship them as they have had several damaged in shipment.

I have a few other yards to contact in the morning, but in the mean time I am doing some thinking.

Can you retrofit a radiator from a 1750 to fit an 1800?

Curious to know why they think the tanks are shot?

I used to work in a radiator shop and never seen a tank from an old tractor that went bad other than from mechanical damages.

Tank punctures and rubbed through spots are easily repaired.
 
radiator shops are getting lazy, they just want to fix little jobs,for easy money i fixed a radiator that they said couldnt be fixed it took 3 hours though and it was the first radiator i ever worked on just got correct solder cleaned it with acid and brush i have a hard head though.
