My new Oliver 1550

So I traded my old Ford 8N for an Oliver 1550 wide front, It runs good and so far I have been redoing the wiring to put the fuses back in line. It has the hydralectric but I don't have any cylinders right now.

Anyway my question is could someone help me verify the model number?
The plate at teh bottom of the dash is Model Number 255-21287 Serial Number 181029-504 from what I read at the library it was manufactured in late 66 but I can't find anything on the model number.

I also have a chance to get a cab from a 1600 so does anyone know off the top of thier head if tat will fit?

Thanks in advance!!!
Jeff

thats a big upgrade from the ford. hope you like it. Sorry i cant help with the cab question.
external_link might have your serial numbers and other info you might want to know.

Cab should fit. I would make different floor plates for it. What do you want to know about the spec number? I would need to look that up.

I was just wanting to make sure that it is a 1550, I'm new to Oliver's and the Model number doesn't say 1550 anywhere. I did find an Oliver Tractor Data book on Amazon, the library did not have one so I am hoping that it will tell me more but I won't see that for two weeks.

If you could just let me know what the "-504" means in the serial number and what the model number means that would help me a great deal.

Thanks,
Jeff

Thanks so much!!!!

I took the carburetor off last night so I can rebuild it, the float needle is not seating well and I should have the kit today, ordered that last week.

Thanks again,
Jeff
