Convert 4240 3-bottom to 2-bottom?

Can a 3-bottom 4240 plow be converted to a 2-bottom? There is/was one for sale locally, but 3 16" bottoms is more than my tractor will pull.

The replacement wear parts are still available, right?

I found some literature and photos online of the 4240. Looks like the tailwheel lift rod is already set up for the conversion. It's just two rods bolted together.

All I'd need to do is remove the rear bottom, move the tailwheel up to the second bottom, disconnect the lift rod in the middle, and connect it to the tailwheel.

I've always heard that Oliver plows are the best.

Those plows can be set up as 12, 14, or 16" width of cut as well. Floyd County Museum in Charles City can sell you a set up and operators manual.
