Looking for Cockshutt 35 engine parts

Hello all,

I am looking for some engine parts for a neighbor who recently picked up a Cockshutt 35 with a Hercules GO198 engine.

The tractor had been sitting the past 20 years and we've had to completely tear down the engine. We hare having a bit of trouble locating engine parts and I was wondering if anyone here can point me in the right direction?

I've found the name Phil Haisey and will pass that phone number along to the owner.

In the mean time does anyone know where we can find rings, sleaves, headgasket or intake gaskets?

Talk to Phil Heisey in Pa. He has most of that stuff in stock, if you look back a few pages you will find his # on one of the responses, great guy to deal with

Well you did not look too hard. Gasket sets & rings are no problem. Jerry Biro has a bunch of sleeves. Fact I have some gakets yet I would like to get rid of. Send me an e-mail J.

Well you did not look too hard.

Actually I've got about an hour or more into looking - and I am by no means a n00b to the internet. Where/how are you finding stuff? I realize its all about searching for the right thing - and sifting through the massive amounts of crap.

I've been trying searching for model numbers available on different parts with not much luck.

I'd fire you off an email but the site I am using to gain access to the forum (http://ytforums.ytmag.com) isn't giving me a link to your profile so I can get your email address....

Thanks to the rest of you for the info, I will pass it along.

How can I get ahold of you? Again I can't get at your email address through this website.

The phone number posted is for Jerry and he will be your source of sleeves. Victor made the gasket set and since it didn't rain we will be working on the wheat harvest, I was going to go to where my set is stored and get the number from it.I also have a number for a Perfect Circle ring set. If it rains I will look up those numbers. You are probably younger as I check very little of this stuff on internet sources. Course I did this for a living a few years ago. Have a good day. J.

If 24 constitutes as younger then yes I am younger - I however have no problem finding parts for my Lada Nivas, Misc Hovercraft I have worked on, or even old odd-ball motorcycles (i.e. my Father’s Puch).

I realize its all in where you look - and that the stuff is without a doubt out there; I just have to find the sweet spot. You guys are pointing me in the right directions though, which is why I am here in the first place. ;)

Thanks!
