Help-Need to talk to good 880 diesel mechanic

I have a problem with a leak my 880 diesel and need to talk to a good mechanic. My good friend neighbor things the leak the problem with the fuel pump but unsure. My email is listed below--would you send me a msg and I could call you back. I am a small city type acreage farmer and need some advice before I start taking things apart and making a fool of myself.

I have a 3 ton ford dump truck... it has hydraulic brakes... The motor on the brakes sometimes runs continuously... there's a bracket attached to the firewall and there's this gray part that's mounted to that bracket with 2 screws then the arm from the brake that comes from inside the truck is also connected to it with a cotter pin... This part has 3 or 4 hoses attached to it... I've cleaned it up and checked all the hoses to make sure none of them are leaking, they seem fine...however where this gray part is bolted on to the bracket or mount seems to be leaking right where it's bolted on.... One side of this part... we'll call it "the park break valve" is open, you can see the parts inside, so I'm confused how that could leak there... does this part have a gasket or some kind of seal between the park brake valve and the mount? That doesn't really sound right...If this little gray part is in fact a park brake valve I'm pretty certain we can change it ourselves... If that's the case... is there anything I should know before I begin???
 
The temperature light comes on my skid steer as soon as I turn it on and it stays on... What's up with that??? I checked the rad fluid and it's all full.. We just did an oil change... everything seems to be fine, nothing is leaking... I find it odd that it comes on before the skid steer has a chance to warm up... what could cause this to happen???
