My 9N started overheating now that the weather is getting warm. changed the radiator for new one; noticed air bubbles in radiator. What would crack first-head, or some other part of engine? I will check head first, but, is there some other weak spot in the engine design that I should be aware of?

After that, go back and tighten them to 55 ft lbs.

Bill..... ...bubbles in the radiator water, eh? First thing I'd due is re-tighten all 18 head bolts to 40-ft/lbs. Simple, eh? Sometimes the head gasket takes a little bitt of heat to settle into place..... .HTH. the amazed Dell

Bubbles in rad could be head gasket failure. Do a compression test.
