It's not mine and I don't know the seller. I don't know a whole bunch about tractors yet but I do know this looks like a good deal if it's in the condition he says it is. I'm not in the position for another tractor now but I figured maybe one of you might want to look at it.

Glen Rose Texas is a probably about 1.5 away from me, everything in Texas seems to be far away considering how large the area is. I looked up St. Paul to Glen Rose and it's a little over 1000 miles so not much further than your previous trips.
I hate that I'm as strapped right now for extra money because I'd love to add it to my collection but there will be another one that comes along when I'm ready to buy again. I see he updated his ad with some different pictures so it appears it's still available.

In Classic View you can directly enter any HTML you want and I much prefer the increased power that gives you. IIRC at one time you had your choice of using BBCode or HTML when posting/replying from Modern View but that got turned off. I still occasionally use Classic View when I want to format a "fancy" HTML reply but it seems it doesn't play well when inter-mixed with other BBCODE posts. Probably why the option went away....

a follow up on using the formatting tags, like URL.

disclaimer: i'm on modern view, i don't know what this looks like in classic, or whatever the other mode is called.

to tag text in a post, u can either manually type the tags, one at the start of the text u want tagged, and one at the end with the / in it, or u can use the easy way ;)

highlight the text u want tagged. u can do this with the mouse or keyboard - mouse, click and hold left button and drag across the text - keyboard, position the cursor at the start (or end) of the text u want tagged, hold down shift, and use the arrow keys. in the case of a link, highlight the entire url (the Link and all), and then click the URL button up above the posting box, and the forum software will insert the tags for u. this works with all of the buttons in the row that ends with the URL button :)

Yup if that was anywhere close to PA I would be on my way to get it.
1200 miles is a bit far for me.

If the deal is right I'm not adverse to traveling for it. I've made 2 trips to TX from MN to fetch tractors - about 900 and 1000 miles respectively - each way.
You're a bit farther I know.

Thanks for the instructions on how to post clickable links guys, I appreciate that.
Ultradog MN - I thought that was a deal too. You know I don't know much about tractors but I paid more than $1200 for my N so I knew this had to be a good deal.
If I had the extra tractor money it'd already be sitting outside the house but since I don't I'm hoping somebody on here will take advantage of it.

That is a bargain.
Engine parts for those 144ci diesels are somewhat hard to find if you ever needed them but they are available. My pal Kenny had one rebuilt. Though I prefer the 3 cylinder Fords I always kinda wanted one of those 601Ds.
The diesel would put their gas sisters to shame when it came to fuel economy.
Smooooth power.

As JMOR said, you need the url tags.

They would look like this when you put them in.
Whether you click the button or type them. (faster for me to type them)

Code: [url]http://dallas.craigslist.org/sdf/grd/5377600026.html[/url]

Which will show up like this: Link

If you want to get "fancy" you can add an equals sign, move the first closing bracket and a label like this:

Code: [url=http://dallas.craigslist.org/sdf/grd/5377600026.html]Ford 2000[/url]

Which would show up like this: Ford 2000

Sometimes the links are really long so I use this method to make them shorter.

Classic view has boxes for you to put the url and label in separate,
but since I see you using the quote feature I'm assuming you're using modern view.

if posting using Modern View, then you need to place "url" ahead of & behind your link by clicking on the url box then paste link then click on url box again. If posting using Classic View, then ask. It should look like this without the quote marks that I placed here (instead of leading & tailing brackets) so that computer won't see it as a url & you can see what you need to do.

"url]http://dallas.craigslist.org/sdf/grd/5377600026.html[/url"
