Can a block be repaired if it has a crack / broken area behind the cylinder liner?

Thank you

Mark,That just depends on the location of the crack,at the top/middle or the bottom of the bore.If it is in the middle it can be with engine block cylinder sleeve sealer/retainer and new sleeve. The top or bottom would be harder to repair.Find a quality engine machine shop(that does sleeve replacement knows about such)and let them inspect the block.
