Love mine, worth every cent!
Took me 15 minutes to install only cuz I kept going going back for right tools that I kept not getting. 300 ft each way LOL
Hint: get right sized wrenches while have part in hand while standing in front of tool box.

Here's a link to Zane's web site. His position control device installs on the outside of your tractor. Takes about 15 minutes to install and works very well.

The 9N and 2N tractors only had draft control. It was the 8N that introduced the Position Control to the mix and the little lever under the right hand seat area is for setting those -UP for Position Control/DOWN for Draft Control. Longtime member here, Zane Sherman makes a gizmo he calls the 'Zane Thang' that will add position control to your 9N or 2N.

Been trying to convince a friend what you said. But he insist that you should be able to control the height with the lever on a 9n/2n, also he says then why they have quadrant on the tractor if you can't set the height. I agree there is no position control on the 9n/2n. Can anyone explain the hydraulic system on a 9n/2n to me. I greatly appreciated it.
