Hey fellers,
What do you guys think a running 51 is worth with a good bushhog and scraper blade? The hog and scraper are both in good condition, and the tractor runs but is well used. Definitely not a trailer queen. There are no major things wrong with the tractor mostly just cosmetic. but the fenders have been redone

I decided not to sell it. I just got cold feet and $1000 just doesnt seem like enough money plus its easy to work on and does everything i need it to do. It is a bush hog rotary cutter, so that itself is several hundred bucks. blade, and tractor all said and done i could probably get 2k. But not any time soon :D Just could not do it

I agree with the others on location and tires. Big deals.

On the equipment, what brand and size is it?

A 6 ft scraper around here (central MI) is about $150 unless

it is something special. A rotary cutter varies greatly by brand.

A King Kutter/box store cutter is far less than a Woods for example.

Im in southeast indiana, I figured id probably get about 1000 bucks for it. Tires are decent, and it is on a 6.5 acre farm now.

Hey Jamfu,
As Howdy1960 said, it depends on equipment location and condition. I live in S.E. Alabama, and I see them going anywhere from $1000.00 up to $3500.00 or better. Depends on how bad you want to sell it and how bad someone wants it. I know I wouldn't take less than $3000.00 for my '52, but then again, I don't want to sell her either, got too much work to do. :)

Price depends on many things. Where it's located is a biggie. Lots of large farms running large big $ equiptment, small 5-10 acre farmettes. What shape are tires in are a big deal. Around my area $2500 starting ask price with good tires but expect to get less
