Well looks like I will be rebuilding the hyds of another 8N soon. Got one in yesterday that will not lift at all. With the inspection plate off you can see fluid shooting up around the pump. You can also grab the control arm and make the 3 point go up. If you let go before it gets all the way up it will drop back down again fast. If you hold it till it goes all the way up it will stay up and as it goes up you can see the position/draft lever move just before it tops out. So any body what to speculate as to what I will find that needs fixed when I open it up in the next few days. Only done one so any idea of what to look for would be nice.
Thanks

I would have on hand the gasket set, a cam follower pin, a relief valve, and a piston and oring. The rest will depend on what you find

Ya I figured on doing the pump gaskets and all and always a relief valve and the NAA piston and ring. Cam follower I had not thought about and yep will order one of those also. Might not hurt to do the PTO shaft seal when in there?? Right??
