3 point lift tractor jack?

called an old friend of mine the other day, (he's old and been a friend for a long time, so old both ways, ha) and i was telling him about jacking up my 8n to work on the brakes, etc.. he said they had an 8n on the farm when he was younger, and they had a jack that was mounted on the 3pt hitch. i asked him was it some home made contraption or what and he said no, dad bought it from the ford dealer.

you guys ever heard of such a thing? he didn't really explain very well how it worked, i can only assume that when the lift is raised maybe it worked a lever and lifted the tractor. he said it had "arms" that went back up under the tractor and fit on the bottom somewhere.

built one, I use mine rarely too, but it is nice to place chain on with and/or remove the wheels/tires.

there is a great picture someone will post that shows all the numbers, even a youtube video on it !

be dayum careful of that PTO spinning!

Do a Google search for Dearborn tractor jack and you'll find out all about it. Think you can also find some dimension if you wanted to make one.

I have one with a Ferguson tag on it. I've only used it to show off. It makes people smile to see the 3 point lift used in an unexpected way.
