jar for air cleaner

I have a 1952 ford 8n but am missing the bail and jar for the air cleaner. What size jar did the original take? (1/2 or 1 pint)

try checking on john smiths site,he has a lot of info there,one of mine has a 1/2 pint the other a pint,but one of the bails have been changed and i dont recall which one.pretty sure you can still buy the bails and jars from this site.I "think" they were originally half pint jars on a 52,but not all canning jars made today fit correctly.

ust hunted thru the wife's collection of old jars until find a fit, then took some bucket bale wire & made be a spring like clamp. 15 minutes & zero cost.

I saw one of those on a old M.T.A. at a tractor show,and it had a lil J.D. in it wonder if the dude was trying to say something?
