3 pt hitch leveling arm

Does anybody make or rebuild the 3 point hitch leveling arm? Mine was worn and finally striped completly out. There is one on e-bay but you never know what your getting there. So again the question, does anyone rebuild these or sell them?
Thanks
Steve

They come up frequently on ebay. Look for a seller with good pos feedback. Don't be afraid to ask ?'s before bidding.

Well there's one out there now for over a hundred bucks. What would one typically go for or for better words, what would one expect to pay for one?

Once again you can get it here at this site Under market place /parts.

Wow. A new one for about fifty bucks or an old used one for 108 bucks...LOL. I guess that answers my question. Thanks!

I have one that is bent but works. Individual parts are avail. You can have my crooked one for shipping. Send email.

Which part is 'worn out'? I have several excellent originals/USED for the same $55.00 and I'll pay the shipping. OR, do you only need the lower 'fork'?

Hi Jim, I I think I need the lower part. When I turn the leveling arm it seems to be stripped out on the lower screw part. I haven't tried to separate them so I don't know what part is messed up. When I try it just goes to a certain point and stops and freezes up.The crank turns but does not move up or down, which pretty well makes my bush hog useless because of it's not level. The one on the other side which I know does not have a crank looks as though it was broke at one time and then some one at one time welded it

So you can hold the round rod and turn the crank?

Gearbox is trashed if so.

Usually, when the fork gets worn/stripped, the rod will thread out(lengthening) to a certain point and then the rod pulls out and the lower/lift arm drops down.

e-mail is open.....

Sounds like something is stripped out in the gear box. It's working up until it reaches a bad spot in the gears and then locks up. Could be a broken tooth on the ring that wedges the pinion.

If the threads were stripped on the main shaft, it would likely fall apart when it got to the stripped section.

It's going to be hard to diagnose until you pull it apart.

Most of the parts are available to rebuild them but I would recommend you get an original replacement and keep your old one for spare parts.

I purchased two lift links from JimNCal over the Winter and the both were in great shape.

Hi Bill and thanks for everyones advice too. No it does not work at all The reason I think its the lower part is that when I manually try to pull the lower shaft down it just pulls out and then to the lowest (most extended)position then it jams so I can't pull it apart. I'm guessing the the worm gear on the fork and the shaft is shot. Is my thinking wrong here???
