3pt lift 49 8n

i am struggling to get the hydraulics to lift higher (position mode). rebuilt the cylinder, cleaned pump, new oil, zane jigged it, no oil squirting. got as much adjustment out of the control lever quadrant as i could, but still not lifting all the way. if i reach in and pull the arm forward, the lift goes higher. any thoughts of wisdom? only thing i can think of is pull the lift cover (again ugh) and compensate for the extra arm travel i need in the right direction. (out there zane for any assistance?)

did you renew the cam follower pin?

did the cam surface on which it rides look excessively worn?

if I read your message correctly, one of those 2 problems.. or BOTH are your issue.

the cam pin, if worn, isn't bad to replace.. the cam surface, can be brazed or welded up and then filed down to make it smooth.

yes and no
pin is new, surface looks worn down alright. i thought jig would compensate for that when adjusted. thought of what you said about welding or brazing. how critical is the new surface curvature/reproduction?
