6 Volt Regulator Wiring

Anyone have a diagram for the wiring of a replacement 8N 6 volt regulator (posi ground) - my replacement has three connections - BAT, ARM and FLD (field). Four wires run to the regulator - one from the resistor and three between the regulator and the generator. I had this rigged up and running before I tore my tractor apart two years ago and I misplaced my notes as to where each wire ran. I assume the FLD (regulator) goes to the post tagged field (generator). There is another post on the generator that says GND and the third post (side of generator) is not tagged? Help is always appreciated.

resistor terminal block TO reg's BATT
gen's GND TO reg's GND (base/mnt)
gen's FIELD TO reg's FIELD
gen's ARM (rear end plate terminal) TO reg's ARM

That is one impressive diagram. I think even I could follow that one. Any chance of posting the 8N sidemount version?

thanks,
Doug
