we have a 47 8n that we use for cultivating and bush hogging. To stabilize the implement we use stabilizer bars that go from under the fenders to the pins on the implement that is attached. These bars stop the implement from swaying. Under the fenders the stabilizer bars are attached to a bracket that has a pin welded to it. The end of the bar has a hole that the pin goes through and the bar is held in place with one of those standard tractor lock pins. On the other end the bar goes onto the pin of the implement after the link arm has been put on the same pin. On our massey we have turnbuckles that permit any implement to be stablized quickly and easily. Is there an aftermarket turnbuckle stablizer for the 8n? I am hesitant to drill the link arms to attach it. Is there something that connects were the lift arms attach to the link arms?
Any help would be appreciated.

Sure, Farmex makes adjustable-length stabilizer bars that fit the same way as your present stabilizers. Contact John tOTG (find his replies and E-mail address all over this board) for best price, good goods and prompt service.

Unless you're bush-hogging hard and long, you may find that one is enough to keep your hog adequately stable.
