I bought a recently rebuilt 2N last year, and I have used it only 10 hours since (scraping gravel driveway or brush hogging). How much of the maintenance in the shop manual do I need to do? Should I really tune up the engine this year? Clean and repack wheel bearings? Change transmission/differntial/hydraulic oil?

Thanks,
Dave

If it were mine I would change the oil and filter at least once a season.

If'n she is kept outside, I at lease keep her covered-up with someth'N. Canvas, tin, or even a blanket.

Next season, check the dipstiks fer any water beads.
Might consider putt'n a 2x4 somehow to keep the clutch pedal down.
Make sure the anti-freeze is right.
Better yet, think of the work she has done, and, what you expect her to do, still.
Any of them things the book says, well, maybe was never done before.

Treat her GOOD, and she will pay you back, somehow.

HTH John,PA
