All, I"m going to be pulling the crank on my 8N soon to get it turned. I cheaped out the last time I was in there and didn"t do it....now, I"m paying for it. Should I replace the crank gear or not? I"ll be putting a clutch in it while apart and also replacing the crank pulley. Anything else I need to consider?

Watch out for a badly worn timing gear.Used to be able to get oversized timing gears to make up for wear on the crank gears.Crank gears can come off hard.
