Tonight, 8:00pm.EST., Llamas shares his December vacation in Sunny CA. on Discovery channel, Monster Garage. I think it's a front mount/6 volt with original colors?

My local listing says Monster Garage will be on at 9 pm Mountain time, so I guess you guys will be reviewing it here before I even get to see it!

Guess I'll watch the Jazz try to beat the Nets while I'm waiting.

Are you saying that Monster Garage is goiing to use an 8N as the basis for some creation? I checked their website and it sez that a PT cruiser is going to be a wood chipper tonight?

Hmm

Hec- This link should take you back to the original post. I didn't mean to imply an 8N was to be used in tonight's show. Only that it would be interesting it they ever did use an 8N. Sorry for not being more specific.

They are no going to do something with an N. I believe that Llamas (one of the original board members) will be on the team in tonite's program.

If I remember correctly, this is the night. I only saw the program a couple of times, and couldn't help but wonder what they could do with an 8N. Maybe some day we'll see them launch fence posts or something. Would surely be interesting.

As suggested the other week, make a trebuche` out of the the 3pt. I think a more challenging project would be to put on a nippondenso starter. LOL

I don't have cable, so i'm gonna have to find a buddy to tape the show.

the real challenge is to make a Denso style starter LAST. third world parts using third world metals, specifically return springs and bearings made out of old tin cans come to mind. I think we all know a little about cheap aftermarket parts. If you ever want to hear the horror stories let me know. Jim C
