Can anyone tell me the procedure for lifting the hood on my 8N.....like disconnect radiator,empty gas tank etc..... .?????

After you get the two lower bolts out spread the doglegs slightly and remove the grill rather than waiting for it to fall out on it's own.

Service manual covers this...you only have 6 bolts, 4 on the dash and two on the front at the bottom of the grill. You also need to disconnect the gas line from the carb. If you have a good bit of gas in the tank, you might want to empty it...makes it lighter to lift. I have taken mine off by myself, but I would recommend two people to lift it off..not heavy but cumbersom. You will also want to have a couple of sawhorses set up (close together) to rest the hood assembly on when you get it lifted off. Also make sure you pull down the wireing harness from the clips on the underside of the hood...
