I just got back from being away from my computer for 9 days and have been catching up on this debate. We (and I use we to mean all of us on the board) seem to be degenerating into another "Andy" issue. Let's not go there again. The word "stupid" should only appear on the board when used in conjuction with the amount of grinding req'd to put in a new style starter bendix.

Messages on this board can be grouped into 4 categories:
1) Newbie questions
2) Detailed topics from N veterans
3) OT
4) N BBQ's (grin)

Personally I prefer the detailed questions. These often lead to detailed discussions and I learn more from these than anything else. Hendershot's pics and messages are of the detailed type and I'm interested in reading them (because let's face it - most of us have never had the tranny apart on a workbech). I also KNOW he's probably selling the picture - SO WHAT. There's no problem unless he's actively selling it in this forum. If I want it I'll e-mail him or go look for it on e-bay.

Without threads like Mark's we limit ourselves to the mundane and the "boy I love my tractor" stuff.

Let's let it go before we drive Mark to do an Andy on us and split. (and please note that in the spirit of this message I resisted the temptation to take a shot at Andy.)

I'm not upset at anyone or anything - but c'mon guys, let's move on.

Keep posting the pictures Mark. They are a valuable resource to everyone. Besides, the work that you do is clearly high quality (I don't think I've seen anyone clean parts as well as you). Others would do well to use you as an example of how to help others. I for one would like to know when you are parting one out and have goodies available. I never know when I'm gonna need a new something...

the advantages to having the wealth of information - pictures, advice, tips on sales/availibility - is something all n owners is going to need and rely on sometime sooner or later. so if you are in the luxurious state of not needing anything right now, please be quiet so those of us that are in bad shape can read, learn, and enjoy! thank you to all who do respond maturely. tim in pa.

I'm still around here guys and watching all the bad things you say about me. I don't write because I have beter things to do like pay taxes and enjoy my rich parents, my new barn, water skis, jet skis, ski boat, ski tractors, new ski computers, new ski house, bigger land, more of everything and bigger than most I have it all and I'm not going away I just read now because I am better because I have more and bigger of everything and I like it that way because if I dont have things to boast about my beautiful head will only stay the same size and I perpetuate continued growth and my economy is my head and the bigger it gets the better I am! Greed is good and bigger is better and the more I have the happier I am. Andy

I have lots of computers at many sites. When I went on our vacation that my parents paid for and it was a 5 star hotel I bought more computers to let people use. I am very generous and when I dont like them anymnore I pull their computers from them and I bring them home and look at all of them I am buying. I am happiest when I EXPECT everyone to treat me the way I want to be treated and I buy all osrts of stuff to make them happy and when I feel like I dont get respect I take their use away and I buy more of everything and more tractors to put in my newestr and biggest barn that I built between my jet ski rides. I am only 24 years old and I am going to have it ALL!!!

As a new person let me Say I appreciate all of the parts pictures I see here. I just wish I had the time and know-how that Mark has to make his parts so clean and new looking. and his comments about the procedures on replacing parts is invaluable to someone like me. I just wish he was doing a Jubilee for my benefit(Grin). I do appreciate the knowledge gained from this Forum.

Thanks Chris, I hope it stops too. I am not going away, I have a lot of freinds on this site. I also have a lot more to learn about Tractors and help some if I can. I am not mad at anyone and wish we could all get along as Denny said! I will watch how I post any pictures or comments in the future to try not to upset the ballance here. PS Nice pictures of those tractors you put on! Wish they had a show like that around here. Mark H.

Did you see that re-print in Capital Press? I do have a lot of hose way over 1,000 ft of 1 1/2 in and probley that much in regular hose! Takes several hundred gals just to fill it all up when needed. With 40 acers you need it for fighting fires with! Mark H.

Geez! I defended Sunshine's OT the other day, and come back and see you are taking heat now! Guess you need the hose to quench the controversy. Don't know how many GPM you flow thru the inch & 1/2, but around here, almost everyone uses inch & 3/4 (with 1&1/2 couplings) for better flow & less FL. St.Florian's watching. Bob in NY

Naw, I am looking for a place to park pictures for E-bay. What E-bay offers is too small and not very good. (Pixel count) So when I see a good pic, I snoop around and find out where they park theirs. I found yours. It seems though that it is not intended for my purposes.
Happy motoring

I store all mine on my 20 Gig hard drive but if you need one let me know I can send it to you. For computer use low count on the pixels is OK for eBay but not for reproduction. I have put some big pictures on there when I need real good close detail but it is 1.00 a set too. I have a web site and several other places I could put them to post but I haven't yet figured how to do it right. Mark

Mark, I've heard you talking about fighting the fires. One of the things my company sells here in Canada is poly tanks. Sold 4 more today to an outfit trying to fight an underground peat fire. Our tank manufacturer in the US can hardly keep up right now due to demand created by the fires.

A couple of years ago, the state of CA bought one hundred 10,000 gallon tanks and cut the tops off of each one. Pumps from streams and ponds would fill the tanks and the helicopter water bombers would dip the tanks to reload their bags.

I have a Poly Tank 250 gals on a trailer with a pump and a steel 6,000 gal tank under ground with a 5 1/2 hp gas pump for my big hoses and 3-40 gpm sprinklers on my roofs in case I have to leave the place again they will keep wetting it down for a while. Those poly tanks are nice and work good for what you just said. Mark H.

Purple cleaner from NAPA and Wal-Mart (there cheaper) comes in a Purple Jug?? Oh lots of elbow grease and a fine wire brush on the bench grinder and other sizes of wheels on drills and angle grinders. The high pressure washer saves most of the time and works grate. I don't use strippers any more rough on the hands and lungs also parts to if it get in the wrong place. Mark H.
