Not unless you want to flip over. I use a hay buggy on the draw bar quite often. Does great for moving a few. Wouldn't want to have to move a bunch of bales this way, too cumbersome. I probably don't have to tell you this, but a 1000# hay bale is only 1000# dry. After getting good and wet, it weighs lots, lots more.

Jeff..... ....NO, sorry.

Most N's front wheels start flappin in the breeze when lifting much more than about 750#.

When founding N-Board member "llamas" rebuilt his 2N hydraulics, he chained his front axle down and was able to lift about 1200# of lead bricks at the rear arms before the internal safety valve popped off..... .....Dell

NOT safely, even with a 1000 lb counterweight hanging off the front axle! Especially if your place has any hills.
Sorry, but ya need a bigger tractor.Or maybe just put a big bumper on and roll those bales where ya need 'em.

I don't think so. MyTO-30 Ferguson would have a hard time doing that with 200 lbs on the front end, you would have a lot of weight sticking out so leverage would be against you. Mark H.
