I have finaly gotten around to finishing the lighting system on a 1947 2n.Can anyone tell me what other clear light was used and did it have a togle switch or a two stage switch on the dash? This is on the rear in addition to the red tail lamp. Thank You

The "implement light" [with the little switch on the back} did not come out until 1949.Most folks used a 3rd headlight for an implement light before 1949.M2CW don

Don,

Do you know if all 9N/2N's had the gas splash shield insert under the hood lid, and if not, which years did?

I used to think that the shield was for gas splash until I read somewhere that it was to prevent metal gas cans from contacting the battery and ruining an otherwise beautiful day.
Don b, if you have one to sell, I'm in the market, too. e-mail details to: smateavp@msn.com
I'm John.
