I just bought a 9n and am not sure what it is.
I checked out some of the links and they sat some
of the 2n carried the badge of 9n for a while.
My question is my # is 9N284227.I read this many times so I know I'm not mental.I even got a friend
to call them out to me and he called out what I
had.Also I live in N.C.and I've heard 30wt. for oil.What do ya'll think.Can anybody tell me where
to get some floorboards for this new family member.Sorry so long but new to the antique tractor life.

Go to the N-Newsletter classified and links section and you will find an ad for running boards in the classified section.

'cause I am a computer illiterate, link did not work. Just do a keyword search of the archives for running boards. Good stuff there!

While not an original item on the 2N, many folks like the running boards for comfort. Many good discussions in the archives and even plans to make your own. I will include a link below. Hope this helps.

You are the proud owner of a 1947 2N!

Check the link below for a great N series ID page...

All 2N's carried a 9N prefex to the serial number and it looks like you have a 1947 2N. 30wt should be fine but I prefer a 10/30wt myself. Sorry but no help on the floorboard thing
