Lift Arm Control Help

Hello,
My lift arms slowly lift up and stutter on the way. I have had the cover off and made all the adjustments I could find. Still does the same thing. With the side cover off I can push the arm towards the pump moving the pump plunger forward and the lift arms shoot up like they should.
I cannot figure out how to adjust the lift control arm any further so the arm moves that far when the lift lever handle is pulled up like I can do when I reach in the side cover and manually move the lever.
It's like there is some kind of slack in the lift control lever I can't get rid of.

I've already rebuilt the pump, new fluid, and adjust the arms using Zanes adjustment tool.

I'd appreciate any input.

Here is an example of a bent control rod. Looks like it was heated at one time. I didn't do that. I just replaced it.

(quoted from post at 07:39:07 05/28/23) Is the arm straight or bent. Straight is correct

Yes it is straight.

As a final adjustment, you can loosen the four bolts holding the lift lever assembly and move the whole thing. The holes are slotted on it. I did that on mine and it worked. But, it was so long ago, I can't remember if I moved it backwards or forwards. I'm sure someone here will give you the right answer.

Tried that today, all the way forward makes the problem worse. All the way towards the rear of the tractor gets me where I am now.

latvius, have you checked the adjustment for the main control spring? The big spring that sits over the differential?

Yup, replaced the felt pad. I took the cover back off, getting good at it can do it in 15min.
Went through the adjustment instructions again and I think the problem is the spring in the position control arm is not long enough. I took some pictures but my phone is being slow. I'll post them when I get them uploaded.

yes
he swivel must be free to move between C & D without contacting either limit , when in Position control mode. Is it, even when you make it work with hand thru inspection port?

The spring on the right is too short. When I moved the lever to make contact it does not align with the jig. I need a spring about 1/4 inch longer or shim it I guess so the arm lines up in the jig.

My other picture was blurry I'll take some more tomorrow.

Yes I believe it can move freely. When the top is on I do not know, would need a scope or something to see up there.

I hate to assume, but have to.
Did you adjust the position control spring that is to short?
If you did, what you're saying is there is no tension on the spring when you lengthen the position control rod?
