Did new tractors come with factory top link or was it part of the implement
I only see the aftermarket TSC type top links being used
 
I don't know if the oem top links came
with the tractor or were optional like
lights. I've got 3 or 4 oem links around
here and the aftermarket links are easier
to use. The oem links have 3 bolts with
nuts on the adjustment.
 
ALL N-SERIES FORD TRACTORS came with the 9N-576/577 2-PC Flat Bar Top Link. With the NAA and after, a newer adjustable, round style was used.

What is the gizmo bolted onto the left of the top bar in the picture used for?
