Would like to know where the level plug for oil in the transmision is located. Fill port on top of transmision.
Differential has dip stick to check oil level.

Hi Tim,
Nice selection of Ford Tractor manuals.I have several of the manuals. One I think is the best for my 8 N is the owners manual for the 8 N which I received when I bought my 8N from a friend. One member on the forum told me that a common sump is used, fill port top of the transmission, dip stick right side of differential
My favorite tractor. I use it to run a 4 foot Woods rotary mower. Other ford tractors I have: 1953 Jubilee with a Paulson loader, sold my 9N, and a TE 20 Ferguson with a sherman step up and step down.
Thanks for sharing. I live in the State of Washington. Pages for lubrication points in the manual are very small print
