Late 9N Ford

Tried to bring this one back to as close to original as I could. Switched from 12V back to 6V. New brakes and
sure-seals. New wiring Still has the 32 inch rims and tires on the rear. Used the sunflower patch for a back drop.
We planted these for the song birds and especially the Goldfinch, It is the state bird of Iowa.

Looks good Del. Nice job. That front bumper is interesting. Was it on the tractor when you got it?

Looks great Del! I keep saying I should drop in again some day to see what you're working on!
I bought a bumper about like that several years ago and the guy said it was a Ferguson. Don't know if he knew or was just trying to sell it!

Lynn, I just looked again at the Montgomery Ward ad in the manuals section of the other N site. You are probably
correct. It was not advertised for any specific tractor so the Ferguson and others that it would fit on are most
likely included. Any time you are in the area stop by, always nice to talk about old Fords.

HiYa Del-
Very nice job, young man! The 1940 Ford 9N Accessory Catalog offered a HD grille guard/bumper that may have been used on 38/39 Ford Trucks too. Bumpers were nevra factory feature; they were always an optional dealer accessory. Here are scans of the Ford catalog pages and a Monkey Ward bumper ad...
