Bought a 45 2N, that sat for years, converted over to 12V, once i got the fuel issue resolved (carb replaced) it purrs like Cat, runs great. However the hydraulics need help. Basically wouldn't lift much weight, then when shut off the arms would lower soon (still no weight). Taking apart the lid, there was no gaskets between the lid and the lift cylinder. I'm also looking to tweak some things since it's apart. The Hydraulic lift Control lever, does not seem that it can be broken down. I've got the nut, spring washer off, and reviewing a Youtube video, this has a key. So are the older N's using a press stamped bolt for this lever, where I need to maybe grind one side of the bolt to get the lever off (If i have to I can replace the lever control. I'm replacing the Friction Disk. I'm also curious to how I can correct the gap in the rear of the lid to arms. Do I need to replace the end caps, or are there seals? (Attachments in random order)
