Found A 19-209 One Arm Loader WITHOUT Mounting Brakets

Enough loader for me and the fact it is odd to see one I want to get it. Been reading up some on them, look's like a better chance of finding complete loader from a broken 8N than I could pickup a broken loader with good brackets. Any leads?
Thank's,

Make sure he has the brackets for an 8N for
it. Those and the brackets for an NAA/Jub
are the rarest of the rare. They are worth
more than the loader is.
Without the right set you can't mount the
loader and you would need above average
fabrication skills to make them.
Also, your Funk conversion will create
additional mounting and structural issues.
Neat as those loaders are I suggest you
continue to look for a different loader.

I have a one armed loader on one of my 8ns. Not totally worthless but pretty close. useless with out weight in tires. I have never seen one advertised for sale with the mount4ing brackets. Mine came with the tractor!

Not a plug and play for sure. I'm looking at another loader tractor to bolt the backhoe up to get the immediate jobs done. I would like to take my time with the Funk and do it right. Paint it, maybe even fix all the leaks.

I believe t4hat I am missing a brace but not sure. works anyway! ethe plate under the battery box is needed and is part of the mounting brackets. any ques4tions, feel free to ask.

Fair warning Chris...
I bought my first one arm bandit from
Palmer Fossum.
Old guy bought it new and used it gently
for many years. He passed away and a young
couple bought the farmette, including the
8N with the loader.
Young guy got a little too rambunctious and
broke the tractor in half.
Palmer bought it and winched the pieces
onto his trailer.
He put a different transmission in it and
sold the tractor.
I bought the loader and modified it to fit
on a 2000.
Even with heavy pie weights on the tractor
I still could easily lift the right tire
off the ground.
They put a heck of a twist on the tractor.

appreciate that! The loader is 6 hours away. The gas price will be a factor.

read your post along with another from a few years back. I don't plan on picking up any 750lbs+ round bales like another man posted. That is a good looking 2000 you have there. To your knowledge will my backhoe be a direct bolt up 8N to 2000?

Thanks.
I sold that tractor w/loader 10 or 12 years
ago.
As for your backhoe fitting, I'm guessing
it probably would. Both are Cat 1 three
point and the fender mounts on the axles
(where your hoe likely mounts?)are the same
spacing. All the 600,800,2000,3000s are
very similar back there so I doubt you'd
need to modify much - if at all.
I've had several of those loaders over the
years. They are pretty cool but not as
capable as a 'regular' loader.

If the one arm loader is for you funk it won't work cause the engine is too long. The photo you show would be a long box which could mount on the 8n. The one arm loader has pressure up and gravity down. It
will give you no down pressure. I have an extra set of 8n brackets. Don't know if I want to sell them. Like UD said they are rare and don't come cheap.

I was wondering if certain models were longer than others. Is that what long box is? I thought that was a term for the bucket size.

The 'box' is a weldment on the side of the
main vertical tube.
The loaders were all basically the same but
there were many different bracket sets to
attach the loader to different model
tractors.
The long box was 5 1/2in and fit tractors
from 1948 to 1964. The 3 cylinder Fords -
1965 + have a
wider chassis than the older tractors so
they made the box 3 1/2in deep.
There is a bit more to it than that as
there are some variations on that theme but
that is the gist of it.

I think it is a cool photo so I saved it.
