I am working on a very late production 9N, serial number 9N 98991 which was made in early 1942. Would the 41
grill still be correct for this tractor? I have several of these grills and would like to use one on this
tractor.

John Smith's Ford Tractor ID page lists the grille change as happening after serial number 99047.

With only 56 tractors between yours and the production change, you can bet the new-design grilles were in the plant and maybe even on the job around the time your tractor passed through and had it's ''1941 only'' style installed.

As nice as that grille of yours looks, I woulda installed it even if it fell slightly into the new grille range- you know Ford made sure that they used up any old stock they may have discovered when cleaning behind the presses!

Yes, this one also has the 9.5X32 rims and tires on it and I understand the 28 inch rims had been available for a while.
