I have a Jacobsen G10 golf course tractor and have run into multiple dead ends trying to find replacement brake wheel cylinders. I have the Jacobsen and Bendix part numbers but NO ONE seems to have any information on those numbers nor able to cross-reference them. I know I have a Dana rear end and the wheel cylinders are just like Ford uses, but I cannot find ones that are the right length. Any idea on what a good NAPA part number is, or from another supplier, or what model Ford truck I need to be using in finding replacement brake parts?

Thanks.

I agree with Jim WI.
Post the number you have.
Lots of people here and they all have a bit of info.
Modifying a brake cylinder is not a complicated thing. I would think if the only issue was the length it could be remedied by someone with even the simplest metal lathe.
If you have the old cylinders they could be bored and sleeved.
Backing plates can be welded on and modified to accept a slightly different but readily available cylinder.
If you can find the right sized cups, and you probably can, new stainless pistons can be made.
It would not be hard to remanufacture any and all parts to make that worthy Worthington stop on a dime.

From what I've been able to find, it appears that the G10 used a Dana 60 rear end. There are disc brake conversion kits available for Dana 60s. Depends on what you want to spend.

A guide to identifying a Dana 60:

Once you know which Dana 60 you have, you may be able to track down the proper wheel cylinders as it's unlikely that Jacobsen designed it from scratch. You just need to narrow it down to which make and model the rear end might also be used on.

ound some photos of Jacobsen and Worthington tractors in the below post. KirkNJ owns the one with the 192 and the Ford sheet metal.

Ford used a 6 lug Dana 60 axle up through 1966. Thinking along that line if you were to look up what Chevrolet and Dodge were using see if their brake parts match Fords. If the Dana is a match chances are your axle will be the same. DELETE FORD9/2/8N FROM THE LINK BEFORE COPY AND PASTE
