Just to let the Old Timers know still alive and health is much better! Last time I was here I was real sick and sold my Power Wagon back in 2018! Well since then I was ready to give up and just quit all my Meds and funny part was I got better again! Doctors are not happy I don't need to see them anymore at 70 years of age. Bought me a 4044M John Deere with the money from the sale of the 48 6x6 Power Wagon and been just having fun plowing snow and other things I can find using it. Nice to see some of us are still kicking and Ultra Dog still fixing stuff! Me I am just liking new stuff now. Fixed up my JD to the way I like it now just operating it for entertainment! One of my TO-30 I fixed up is still running just like it did so many years ago. The new stuff will have a hard time doing that! 780 hours on my JD since 2018 and hope to put a whole lot more on it! Take Care and keep the 8Ns going! Mark H.

Thanks Willy N... good to hear from you again.....at 76 I'm happy to be HAPPY, too!!

Older you get even little stuff can be enjoyed! I have me a 2021 Dodge Challenger GT and just diving it makes me feel young again!

Willy-N ,Good to hear from ya,glad you are off some of those crazy meds and you are feeling better. Some of them just make you feel worse and take you down the wrong rabbit hole  Keep in touch with us old N guys every so often and it is important have FUN in life. :D

Hey Mark,
I was thinking of you a while back. Good to see you are still kicking and thanks for remembering me.
I'm kinda done with tractors. Still have 3 Fords but have sold off most of my spare parts and am moving on to other interests.
I still come here every day though.
We've lost most of the old ones. ToTG, Llamas, BJMT, even Dell and Zane. But there are always fresh faces here - a few of whom have the potential to carry on the tradition.
So the board is in good hands.
Stop in a little more often. It's always good to see old hands.

I did miss a few names looking did not know Zane was gone! It is harder to do big projects anymore but your supposed to figure out new stuff to do when you get older. Bought my wife a 2022 Toyota TRD Off Road 4x4 and wow what a nice truck! Beginning to like this don't work on the new stuff just enjoy it. The Toyota has all kinds of modern things to learn and keep my mind fresh. Like the Challenger GT it is so friggen fast and only a 305 HP V-6 but can do a 14 sec 1/4 mile and 135mph!! I am still young at heart and these are my new toys. Waiting for winter to end so I can drive it again. It is AWD but afraid some one will hit it and it is so clean I want to keep it that way hate getting mud on it. The JD being all Hydro is nice for my knees I hate a stick anymore and all I have to do it pull on levers and push on 2 pedals to do anything with it. I know it is green but for $29,000.00 it better be a good tractor! Never in my life would I have spent that on one before the 8N's, TO20-30s and MF135s were just fine! Will keep the site in my Favorites to make it easy to check in. I remember the Floppy Disk that was a life time of cleaning parts and taking pictures of them. The fights on the site well those are nothing new it seems every internet forum does it now. I just won't allow myself to get into them. People are not very happy anymore and seem to look for fight on line??? I may be wrong but it sure happens a lot. Take care nice to stop in!

Hello Mark, glad to meet you. You are before my time on this board. Interesting to hear your story.
I'm 77 (78 next month) and am thinking of going orange soon. I have a 2N that I brought back from almost the scrap yard, a NAA and a TO-20.
I also have a '73 Jeep J4000 that is my plow truck, but I need to pull the transfer case this spring as I can't shift it into low range anymore. Not looking forward to that.

Well hello WillyN,(RJ, Mark). Was wondering about you a couple days ago. You still living at the same place as years ago? Glad to see you still kicking! Rusty 2n.

Willy it is good to have something under the accelerator pedal, HORSEPOWER! Have a 2020 Charger with the V-6, runs good and a 2019 RAM hemi 4x4 that I think would have out run my 1970 Road Runner. Love them when the VVT checks in at about 4000 rpm and dual exhaust note is heart warming!
Good to have you back!

Yes they do sound good floored well tuned for a good sound! The8 speed just goes thru the gears without any loss of HP and just goes faster!

Yes but now we have around 120 acres not 40. My Daughter has been buying up the land next to us. More area to mow and take care of during fire season. Don't see as many 8N's as I used to around here and no I did not part them all out just a bunch! Made a lot of guys happy getting good parts to fix theirs.

Willy good to hear from you again. Thought of you the other day when I was out at the barn and stumbled over a few parts I got from you a few years back. Can't remember just what I got, but used some of them and they worked out fine. Keeping the rest for backup.

HiYa Mark! It's great to hear from you again. Yeah, it sux getting older for sure. I turn 66 on Friday and have been battling health issues forever. No, it isn't The Cheena 19 fiasco virus or cancer -they ruled out the latter with a bone marrow biopsy in OCT. I've been dealing with anemia, low hemoglobin since JUL. I was in the hospital for 8 days in SEP while they did every test known and all came back NEG. They still don't know why and now are sending me to the Cleveland Clinic on the 14th to a hematologist specialist. Meanwhile I get my blood draw CBC every MON morn and if HGB is low have to go to the Infusion Lab to get blood transfusions. This is my routine since SEP. Every 2 weeks now. Last week my HGB was 6.4. Normal male adult level should be 13-17. Can't function normally. Good luck on your new projects.

Good Luck, Tim; my hemoglobin and hematocrit were also both about 1/3 normal when I had Mantle Cell Cancer. Zero energy; so I know you're feeling low. I hope you get a quick diagnosis; you're valuable to this board and want you to get better fast! Jim
