Here's the chart.

You won't find a slow moving Ford till about 1959 when they came out with the Select O Speed transmissions. Those would run about .9 mph at PTO rpms.
If you want a slow running Ford with a crash box you'll have to look for something like a 1965 or newer 3000. Those with the 8 sp. would run about 1.6 mph at pto rpms.

Would not help with combining but for pulling if you could find either a Sherman over and under or the realy scarce under only transmission and pot it in. That would slow it down for just pulling but would also slow the PTO down as well. NAA was only a 4 speed, The 600 series were the 640 4 speed , the 650 with 5 speed but not sure if a slower speed or inbetween 3 & 4 on a 4 speed, then the 660 that was a 5 speed with 2 stage clutch for live PTO. The 601 series transmission were same as 600 series but supposedly a bit more power. Sounds like you need an engine powered combine. But now they are very scarce,

What sort of pulling are you doing where you are looking for slower speed? And why go for the lower powered model?

Only speed limit is low gear, first gear and always the slower moving tractors do best. That Is why the Coop-Cockshut 30 & 40 tractors win a lot of the time because they have a very slow first gear. I was the lineup man for probly 15 maby more years, now health has stoped that.

There is pretty much always a speed limit. Slower moving tractors do best at not getting very far, LOL. Speed limits here are usually 3.5 for stock, 6.0 for enhanced, open gear for farm stock. Pick your poison and just don't let the horn sound once you are past the cone.

Yep with the four speed in first and you give it any throttle you'll be blowing the horn. You'll need a sherman combo to get the speed down. You can run in second in low range and still be slower then standard 1st gear which means you can add more throttle. Swap the engine out for 172 or if you can find one a 192 for more power. A lot of guys pulling with the 5 speed cause it's a bit slower.

Any pulls I have watched or worked they did not have a speed limit that used a horn, only slowest gear in tractor and speed within factory spects.
