Does anyone know where i could find a reasonable priced cylcone precleaner for my ford 8n? New or used?

I was thinking around 40 dollars or something like that i figure without the jar or bail doesnt have to be in great shape or anything

I was thinking around 40 dollars or something like that i figure without the jar or bail doesnt have to be in great shape or anything

there is one on eBay right now and it is not even complete and they want 149 for it. good luck.

The CYCLONE AIR PRECLEANER is not made any longer but used ones pop all the time on ebay, condition and prices will vary. Dennis Carpenter.com repops and sells ALL the
Cyclone parts except the main body. Note there is a special 1 pint glass jar but a standard MASON jar will work. Two rubbers gaskets -one under the top of the unit to
protect the glass jar from breaking when the bail is secured, and another rubber hose gasket where the air cleaner meets the unit pipe outlet.

I never had much luck keeping the glass jar from being knocked off by a low hanging limb with the way the cup and bail held the jar. A quick hack, glue a mason jar threaded band up in the top and screw the mason jar in place.

These show up now & the on Ebay, in mostly rough condition. But you can still find good bargains. I just bought one of these (complete) on Ebay today for $64 total, & it has no rust (just needs to be primered/painted, & it looks like a new jar would be of benefit). Just check Ebay often, using key words like "precleaner" & "cyclone".
