How do you remove an ORC?

I took out 2 screws and thought this thing would just slide off. That bugger is stuck and I don't want to mess anything up, am I doing something wrong?

Generally there is a plug and or zerk to remove and a roll pin to drive out...

Ok, I will get a flashlight and put my glasses on and see if I can find a roll pin, thank you!

Copy and past the link above and then remove the $$$$

Great, thank you! 👍

I had that same style of ORC, then a couple years ago it just wore out.
I have upgraded to the quick connect style, it's so much easier getting it on & off.

So glad I asked, took 2 seconds! Thank you gentlemen!
Just remember, if / when you re-install, make sure the roll pin is below the outer sleeve on both sides. Then put one of the screw plugs in one side, and temporally install a zerk grease fitting in the other side and give it a few pumps of grease. Then remove the zerk and install the plug.

I just put two zerks in mine.

How do quick connect ones hold up compared the roll pin style?

The one on my 9N is over 30 years old and not sloppy, but I grease it often

As far as the roll pin style---
The threads on one side ended up getting pretty beat up after taking the roll pin in & out so many times that one zerk wouldn't thread in anymore.

But what really put it on the junk pile was that it started to deform & twist so that it became difficult to slide the PTO shaft on. I think the cheap Chinese steel could not handle the heavy brush I was chopping at the time.

I haven't put the new push-button style too much of a test yet, been just cutting grass with it so far.

Yea, I see a fair amount of that. Certainly a bit more convenient. Just watch out when the PTO is turning
