For the lift arms for my 3- point, picked this up at TS and it's 1/8"-1/4" too short?

I find them in my shop! Cut a bolt, drill it, chuck it in your drill & run it against your grindstone (if you want a round head).
I hate to use those w/all the holes as I can't believe they are as strong as the pin should be! Problem is - that's usually all you can find!
I also have a drawer where all used pins go, & once in a while I actually can find one there that fits!

itto on bolts. I picked up the appropriate length bolts with nylon locknuts when I was replacing the arms on my 3pt.

Machinery supply/hardware warehouses tend to be good places to find this sort of item, especially ones that cater to agriculture/heavy equipment.

What tractor is that supposed to go in and where does it go? the 9N, 2N & NAA had nothing like that in the hitch or anyplace else.

1949 8N, off the hydraulic arm at the top. Took several people's suggestion and used bolts, no worries

I just noticed that you have the left side knuckle flipped over compared to the right side which is the correct way. On the left side you have the pin installed above the new bolt that you put in when it should be below like the right side is installed. I hope this info helps.

Your picture makes the pin you were using to show what you were wanting to be either a 3/8 or 1/2 inch pin and that is what threw me off as I have never heard of that type of pin in a 5/8 inch size. I have used the 5/8 inch bolts in there as with the tractor set for a remote cylinder you have to keep the lift arms down a bit and a lot just use a chain for that but then when you release pressure on cylinder like letting a loader down the lift arms will drop and when you start to raise the loader the arms have to raise up to tighten chain before loader will start to raise. I had a set of band clamps that went around the axle and tightened hp with a flat bar that went up to that joint and pins were not long enough and wanted something tighter so used bolts. Tractor was set up to operate a double action remote cylinder off built in hydrolics.

Can't tell in your picture if the shank of the bolt goes completely through things. When using a bolt as a pin it is best that the shank goes fully through the components and any threads are outside the bores, as a pin would be. The wear will be less on the bolt and components as compared to wearing on the threads.
