Anyone familiar with finish mowers?

Pretty sure I'll be wrapping up things with my tractor this evening, the seals I forgot to order were just delivered, so now I need to focus on my finish mower. It's a Ford 930, 6' cut. Anyone know where I can get a set of belts for this thing? I did a little research and found the length of one of the belts, but nothing on the other one? Also, what do I need to know as far as setting this thing up to cut? I now know more about tractors than I do about this thing, go figure! ha ha

Check with the folks at the link below. They also have an on-line lookup, I didn't check to see of your mower was listed.

Also, you should be able to find the New Holland number at the link below, and order it though a dealer or cross it at the belt site are at NAPA or a similar store.

(quoted from post at 11:37:53 07/26/21) Set the front lower than rear quarter to
half an inch
ITTO. Youll bogg her down big time if you dont do that (basically cut the grass twice). Also the rotating mass isnt as much as a brush hog but you still want a overrunning clutch.

Thanks, it does have an overrun clutch on it

Keep it greased! It's a PITA pulling the guards and such to get to the zerks, but you don't want to be replacing spindles.

Just curious - & maybe worrying about something that isn't there - when you say "It" has an ORC. I have never seen a finish mower w/an ORC. They go on the tractor pto. Often people confuse a slip clutch an ORC. They are 2completely different things!

He means his tractor has an orc...

From his last thread...
